David H Robotham Ltd became Robothams Architecture in 2000 to create a modern architectural practice with a long history of good quality design and personal service.
The practice is managed by partners, associate directors and associates, providing a well developed structure and clarity for clients. Each project is managed by a senior member of staff and is then designated a director who reviews progress and manages resources to ensure excellent service delivery. In support the company employs a range of architects, technicians and administrators to work on every project. By forming defined teams that balance design and technical expertise clients gain ongoing knowledge of a project or institution providing continuity and certainty.
Although we place a strong emphasis on 'hands on knowledge' we also actively support training and academic achievement. Of our 30 staff over half have chartered status within either the Royal Institute of British Architects or British Institute of Architectural Technologists, or are graduates from an architecture related degree course. A regular programme of continuing professional development (CPD) seminars keeps everyone abreast of the latest legislative and technical innovations, and staffs are encouraged to attend external seminars and conferences.
Information Technology has increased productivity, visualization and the quality of our service. Using AutoCAD as the primary tool we have developed a sophisticated system of drawing filing and archiving, allowing sharing and team working. Both in-house and out sourced visualization has given our clients a far greater insight in the proposed scheme long before any work actually starts on site.
The practice is committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction, we operate a certified Quality Assurance policy to conform with ISO 9001, which includes a regular survey of our clients views of the company's performance.
