This prestigious building on the landscaped Abbey Park provides high quality research & development facility and office accommodation on two floors.  Robothams were responsible for the design of the envelope, internal layout and fit-out of both office and laboratory spaces integrated with a high specification mechanical and electrical services strategy.  Robothams were also instructed by two of the pre-let tenants to design bespoke areas for their confidential research operations and to integrate the spaces into the overall Design & Build package.

The building was procured under a Design & Build contract with Robothams novated across to the main contractor, Weaver Plc.  The building is steel framed, clad in brick and curtain walling under a single pitch standing seam roof.

Robothams were further instructed by Pettifer Estates to undertake a master plan for the remainder of the site, designing a variety of buildings ranging from 5000 to 30,000sqft integrated into the existing historical landscape.  The commission included liaising with English Heritage and the Local Authority.
