The practice were commissioned by Deeley Group to prepare a design for the second phase of student accommodation at Warwickshire College’s Leamington campus. The scheme would add a further 98 bedrooms to the earlier phase creating an overall development of 192 en-suite bedrooms.

Designed to closely match the appearance and layout of the first phase, Wood Hall is a three storey ‘cluster flat’ scheme with bedrooms organised in flats of seven, eight or ten students. A two storey link block provides additional accommodation, a warden’s office and plant room, with a warden’s flats at ground floor.

Robothams having gained planning consent from Warwick District Council prepared the detailed design and then supported Deeley during the construction phase ready for occupation in 2017.
