Each bedroom includes private living space for residents to complement communal lounge and dining facilities overlooking landscaped sensory gardens to the rear.

Occupying a key corner site on a main route into the town, the care home combines the traditional vernacular of the context with contemporary detailing to create a building which is sensitive to its surroundings.

The scheme received planning consent in 2014 and was then procured using a single stage design and build contract with Beneficial Construction.  Occupation was gained in 2017
