We were appointed by Laing Homes to design a mixed development of apartments and family houses on a corner site in the grounds of a Regency mansion. The existing house was listed and therefore the sites redevelopment needed to respect the scale and architectural style of the original house. Our proposals accommodated 12 apartments within the extended existing house and 11 new build apartments and townhouses within its gardens. The scheme retained a substantial number of the sites trees whilst protecting the sites appearance from adjacent open land and reflects the use of render on the original house.
Located adjacent to the Kenilworth Road, the scheme was seen as being highly prestigious and sold entirely off plan. Since completion the project has won awards from Warwick District Council for the quality of design and sensitive approach to the listed building.
